Blasted is a bit of a strong word. There was hardly any pressure at all.

Well. Yeah. But I didn't think him walking around covered in dried blood was going to be a good thing. There's kids on this ship. Actual kids, younger than Darcy and me. They don't need to see a dead bloody guy.

Oh, it's possible, but his attitude was foul before I blorbled him. Like, all the insults and posturing.

But is it worth your life if he wins?

I don't think the plan is to fight to the death. First blood, more likely. But death doesn't count here, anyway. And...I think he'll respect me more for showing up, either way. If I win, it'll prove my point. If I lose, it'll prove I take myself seriously, and that I have people who will back me up.
